How to stop sinning

The new believer's new liberty and need for continued freedom:

Believers in Yâ-hwéh Yâhuwshúa` who profess His name before mankind [Song 118: 14-21] are already reckoned righteous in His sight [Romans 4: 3], and as He said, one who is already bathed needs only to wash their feet [Yâhuwchânâ´n 13: 10].  Reading 1 Yâhuwchânâ´n also makes it clear that we may confess our sins to Him for forgiveness of our transgressions while believing in His name, and that we are not imprisoned anymore by sin as we once were when we did not acknowledge His name, we are indeed freed.
So these new believers who have yearned for this freedom, who sought and have obtained release from their bindings of sin to the evil spirits who were misleading them and relief from the ominous and horrible consequences of evil, have indeed found liberty this Way, being in possession of the spirit of the Pure One, and walking with/in/by it.
But how does such a believer avoid sin from then onwards?  How can one stop sinning?  This is the focus of this page, a concept many Christians have declared to be “impossible”, merely because they have not obtained the freedom by having His name, nor the new nature to desire to stop sinning to desire to take the necessary measures to do so [Romans 8: 1-13].
But before we explain how to develop CONTINENCE against sins [1 Qorinthíym 7: 5, 2 Timothéos 3: 3], we should explain the real reasons to do so, and not include the false teachings with the true reasons to do so:

Some Christian false teachings about sin:

Most Christian groups basically know they should avoid sin. But there is considerable confusion regarding why among blind Yisrâ’ë´l (Christians) and these false concepts may possibly accompany new believers coming into the Truth if they have not reviewed their old false teachings for accuracy; confused false concepts such as:

“Do I lose my salvation if I sin?”

Study 1 Qorinthíym 3: 10-15 below about what would happen if we still have some unforgiven sin built within us on the Day of the judgment of His house, on the Day of Yâ-hwéh, when we go through the Fire which comes to test us for our works.
If we would yet still continue to believe on the correct Foundation when He passes us through His Consuming Fire, we shall live to enter into His Kingdom alive. Look!

  1. According to the favor of Yâ-hwéh that was given to me in the manner of a wise architect, I have placed the Foundation, but another builds the house up.  But let each beware how he builds up the house,
  2. for no one is capable of placing a different foundation besides this One Which is laid out, Which is Yâhuwshúa`, the Anointed One!  [Chanówkh 97: 12]
  1. And if anyone edifies upon this Foundation using gold, or silver, or precious stones, or wood, or grass, or straw,
  2. The work of each will become apparent, for the Day will clarify it, because it is disclosed by Fire, and the Fire Itself will test the work of what sort it is,  [Yshá`Yâhuw 4: 4, 42: 23 - 43: 1-2, Mal’âkhíy 3: 2 , MattithYâ´huw 3: 11, Márquwç 9: 49, 1 Këph 4: 12]
  1. and if the work of anyone, which he edified, stays, he shall receive wages,
  2. but if the work of anyone shall be burned to the ground, he shall suffer loss, but he himself shall be saved, but likewise, as through a fire.

Yet although this might be clear, scriptures reveal some of the CONSEQUENCES after entering the Kingdom, of one continuing in sin after believing in the Truth now before the Kingdom. Here is LXX decoded Proverbs 23: 21 -

21. For anyone of Yâ-hwéh that is drunken of Yisrâ’ë´l and a whoremonger, he shall become a beggar of Yisrâ’ë´l and everyone that is a sluggard [`Ivríym 5: 11- 6: 12] shall clothe in what is ripped apart of Yisrâ’ë´l and ragged.

(To better understand this verse, note what defines spiritual drunkeness, and spiritual whoremongering, which produces material drunkneness and material whoremongering, and note what a sluggish person is spiritually, reading the scripture cross-reference - one losing the priority about His name)

What about the doctrine of some Christians of “Once saved, always saved”?

The problems with this teaching are several layers deep.  First, with their definition of “saved”.  Salvation is deliverance from death and entrance into His Kingdom, therefore it is a future event, when His Kingdom comes.  Generations of Christians who walked down the aisle and professed the Lie (their false name) "as their personal savior" have died and not entered into His Kingdom while thinking they are “already” saved, yet other Christians never questioned it!  So if we cannot have been saved already so far, what can one have now?  As we said above, by believing on Him by His true name, discerning Who He is, and professing Him before men with fidelity, we will have obtained justification and become reckoned as righteous in His sight; and if He were to come while we still continue to do this, we would be saved [MattithYâ´huw 24: 13, Luwqá’ 21: 17-19].
So if we once did believe in His true names, and have professed Him, could we lose this justification?  Yes, if we retreat from His names, profess the Lie, then we have forsaken the Truth which would save us.

Examine these scriptures: `Ivríym (KJV - "Hebrews") 6: 4-8

Name-believers who fell aside are rejected and near to a curse

  1. For those once enlightened (immersed [in His name]) who also did taste of the gift of the One over the heavens, and became sharers of the spirit of the Pure One, [Yâhuwchânâ´n s Glad Tidings 14: 26]
  2. and who did experience the virtuous Word of the mighty Ones [Yâhuwshúa`], also the Force of the age to come,
  3. yet have fallen aside: those are incapable to be restored unto repentance again, re-hanging for themselves the Son of the Power on a gallows-cross, and side-showing Him!
  4. For Land [believers] which drank the rain coming often upon it and produces herbage fit for those through Whom it is also tilled, shares blessing from the mighty Ones;
  5. but Land bringing forth thorns and thistles is rejected and near to a curse [Yshá`Yâhuw 5: 6, 7: 23-24, Mal’âkhíy 4: 5-6], of which the end is for burning[Yshá`Yâhuw 9: 18-19, 10: 17, 27: 4]

See also `Ivríym 10: 23-39:

  1. We should retain the profession of the hope [Yâ-hwéh is deliverance/wealth = Yâhuwshúa`], unwaveringly, for He Who promised is trustworthy.
  1. And we should consider one another, for stimulating each other to affectionately love and to do virtuous works,
  2. not deserting our own congregation, just as some men accustom; instead imploring them, yet by so much more, as ye see that Day drawing near,
  3. for when voluntarily some of us are erring it [the profession of His name] after having accepted the acknowledgement of the Truth, no longer does the slaughter-Offering concerning sins remain,
  4. but a certain fearful expectation of Judgment and of the fire of His zeal about to devour the opponents!  [TsphanYâ´hu 3: 8 and 1: 18 and Yshá`Yâhuw 26: 10-11]
  5. Any one having rejected the Law of Moshéh dies without pity on the testimony of two or three witnesses. [Deuteronomy 17: 6]
  6. How much worse punishment do ye think he shall be deemed to deserve, he who trampled upon the Son of the Power, and who esteemed the blood of the covenant in which he was purified as ordinary, and who insulted the spirit of the favor?
  7. For we do discern Yâ-hwéh, Who said:

“Vengeance is for Me, and retribution!  Near the time, their foot will slip because the Day of their tribulation has come about and the future prepared rushes upon them: [Deuteronomy 32: 35]
and again:
“Because Yâ-hwéh shall judge His people, yet He will have compassion upon His bondmen, because He sees that strength is gone, and there is none left, slave or free.”  [Deuteronomy 32: 36]

  1. To become caught in the hands of the living mighty Ones is a terrifying thing!
  2. ¶ But recollect the former days in which, having been enlightened, ye endured a great struggle of sufferings,
  3. because, both in reproaches and oppressions, indeed, ye were being made a spectacle, and that thus ye became partners of the ones who endured it.
  4. For ye also sympathized also with my bonds and ye accepted the plunder of your possessions with gladness, knowing yourselves to have yet abiding a better possession in the heavens.
  5. Therefore do not cast away your outspokenness, which has a great reimbursement!
  6. For ye have need of perseverance, in order that ye may receive the promise, when ye will have done the will of the mighty Ones.
  7. “Because [the vision is yet for the appointed time, and He shall arise up for the ending of the time period and not in vain,]though He may take some time,[wait for Him because]He Who comes shall come and He shall not delay!
  8. If one should cower from declaring it (see footnote below) , My Self does not approve of him; but a justified one by his fidelity to Me shall live!”  [Chavaqqúwq 2: 3-4 LXX, Romans 1: 17, Galátas 3: 11]
  1. But we are not of those concealing it towards the extermination; instead, we are those of the fidelity for the preservation of the life (néphesh)!

What is a "spirit"?  What is the spirit of the Pure One (rúwach ha-Qódesh)?

Materially, a spirit is made of air, its synonyms are ‘breath’ or ‘wind’ (see Strong's #07307).  Yâ-hwéh is called "the Sovereign of spirits" in scriptures, He rules over all of them [Numbers 27: 16, Chanówkh: 101 mentions].  It is written that He has seven spirits which are the seven eyes of the Lamb [Disclosure 5: 6], the seven lamps before the Throne [Disclosure 4: 5], and go to and fro throughout the earth to examine the hearts of men.  Understand that in the spiritual “plane” (medium), all of our thoughts are audible, nothing is private [i.e. MattithYâ´huw 9: 3-4], not only audible to His spirit, but also to any other spirits.  By the same token, we can hear spirits speaking to us, and our normal mind interprets it as an “idea” or internal reasoning.
A human being gets a spirit on loan from the Father, because He breathed the breath of Life into ’Âthâ´m [1 Moshéh 2: 7].  Likewise, Yâhuwshúa` had His own spirit also when He incarnated as a human being as one of our brothers [Yâhuwchânâ´n 7: 35], and when He was dying, when He exhaled ("expired"), He deposited it with His Father as He declared it [Luwqá’ 23: 46, see also Nikódemos 11: 1].

  1. And having shouted with a loud voice, Yâhuwshúa` said:

Father, into Your hand I entrust My spirit.”  [Songs 31: 5]

And having said these things, He expired.

So since then, He has shared His breath/spirit in an enduring manner with all those believing in His name [scroll up to see `Ivríym 6: 4 above], inspiring them with “the spirit of the Pure One” as He is the Pure One.  This spirit is the advocate (the KJV says “comforter”), and it is a sign of a pledge, to us as being inheritors of His deliverance [’Epheçíym 1: 12-14]. He had to die to release this spirit to us to dwell in us permanently:

Yâhuwchânâ´n’s Glad Tidings 16: 7. Nevertheless I state the truth to you: it is advantageous for you that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but when I go, I will send the Advocate to you.

This spirit cohabits within the “heart” of those of us who believe in Him by name, so He sets up residence within us, in what scripture calls a “marriage chamber” [Yâhuwchânâ´n 14: 23, Phílippos 64].  It is part of the process He has planned to form us into His Image, to come to resemble Him [1 Moshéh 1: 26].  The relationship between such a person and His Sovereign is pure, and unoppressive, and produces fruits of the spirit, which are all good [Romans 6: 22]. It also benefits this person with fitness of mind, body, and self (néphesh) [1 Timótheos 4: 8].
The spirit of the Pure One is also called the spirit of Truth [Yâhuwchânâ´n 14: 16-17], as Yâ-hwéh’s Word is Truth [Yâhuwchânâ´n 17: 17].  The spirit of Truth cannot profess a Lie by its own definition, therefore no spirit professing any false name for Him would be the spirit of Truth [1 Yâhuwchânâ´n 4: 1-3].  By being the breath of the Pure One, it speaks His mind.  This spirit of the Pure One (rúwach ha-Qóthesh) is also called the spirit of Yâ-hwéh, comparing MattithYâ´huw 3: 16 to Luwqá’ 3: 22’s descriptions of what breath was seen to descend from the heavens to generate the voice inside Him, saying

This One is My Son, the Beloved One, in Whom I have found delight!

And this is one more proof that Yâhuwshúa` IS Yâ-hwéh, the Pure One of Yisrâ’ë´l.

How does His voice sound?  It is that still (as in quiet) soft unoppressive voice in your mind which is easily ignored [1 Kings 19: 12], which tells the truth which you later find out you should have heeded and not bargained with nor ignored.  It is that logical reasoning calm source of ideas in your mind which does not accuse, rather which awakens you asking questions.  Understand “logical” means its being resonant with Truth, thus this spirit of Truth is a logical spirit, which issued forth, exhaled from the dying human body of our Sovereign Yâ-hwéh Yâhuwshúa` when He gave His life for our Ransom.

What is an evil spirit?  What is their role in sin?

Conversely, evil spirits emanated forth from the bodies of the dying bullies (Nphilíym) who were the progeny of the watchers, immortal envoys who left their stations to come to earth and take human wives, mentioned in 1 Moshéh (KJV – “Genesis”) chapter 6 and explained much better in the Scroll of Chanówkh (“Enoch”) chapter 7-19, especially 15.  The bullies died in a judgment by Yâ-hwéh prior to the Flood, Who said they would kill each other off, and their spirits reflect their same evil, being bullies, murderers, and warriors, are still competing for dominance and power even avariciously.  Evil spirits wander the earth and stay on its surface [Chanówkh 15: 8-10] - "them that dwell upon the earth" [11 mentions in Disclosure]- and inhabit willing humans, like parasites, by forming relationships with them called “spiritual adultery”, according to the human’s particular sinful desires to become adopted serpent seed.  As these bullies (aka "giants") were NOT human, these are unequal unions between unlike dissimilar spirits, where the evil spirit exerts a dominating and addicting and extorting relationship with its host human.  They entice them, luring them into sin by giving them ideas, because when they speak, it often pretends to be their hosts’ own source of ideas.  This mockery of the “marriage chamber” with these dissimilar spirits produces bad fruits of behavior and results [Phílippos 65-66]. This is the spiritual type of unions we are encouraged to untie in Ysha`Yahuw 58: 6 by distributing to the hungry YOUR Bread from heaven -

  1. Is it a fast like this that I have chosen?  A day a man is to afflict himself?  To bend down his head like a drooping reed, and to lie down in sackcloth and ashes?  Is it for this [purpose] ye call a fast and a day of goodwill for Yâ-hwéh?
  2. Isn’t this other one the fast I have chosen, to loosen every bond of iniquity, to untie the bindings of forced conjugal arrangements [’Âthâ´m and Chauwâ´h 57: 7, 59: 6, 68: 5], and to send off the crushed ones freed ones? So you shall tear up every unjust conjugal arrangement,
  3. Isn’t it to break up your Bread [Yâhuwshúa`] for the hungry, because you see the naked and you clothe him; and the stray afflicted ones you are to bring into the house, and you shall not shun the household of your Seed.

We obey our Sovereign, and by free will He gives to us the power of decision to avoid or experience good and evil and their consequences to learn to prefer goodness.  But when ’Âthâ´m chose to obey the Adversary, the Adversary became his lord (bá`al), and this ownership was only ransomed away when Yâhuwshúa` paid for his sin (and that of all his descendants) [’Âthâ´m and Chauwâ´h 57: 7, 59: 6, 68: 5].  The authority which the Adversary obtained by this lordship was to administer death for sin, very similar to his original job description in the Garden as a “prosecuting attorney”, anointed the guardian Kruwv, and assigned on the mount of the pureness of the mighty Ones, walking in the midst of the stones of fire of the altar [YchezqË´’l 28: 11-19], so he has since his fall focused on promoting humans to sin, to devour and incorporate them into his corps, his body, thus the dragon.  Thus his walk is on his belly, but the serpent eats only the dust of the humans he kills, because those lives will all be one day redeemed [1 Moshéh 3: 14].  Meanwhile, sin is the tool of the Adversary to enslave humanity under his authority as lord of death.

When such a person misled by evil spirits obeys their suggestions and commits a sin, it forges a bond and this evil spirit has become the lord of the person, a bá`al, which is also translatable as a binding husband, a despot (Strong's #1203).  A lord possesses and controls, and owns, thus this person has been sold for no cash, by sin.  This lord (aka “spirit guide”) will mislead this person into sin after sin and this person will thus develop diseases and cancers and age badly (see "About sin" on the virgin birth page) and we have observed that with advancing age, these host humans actually begin to also physically resemble their inhabiting evil spirit!
So it is up to the person at some time to accept the Ransom work of Yâ-hwéh Yâhuwshúa` Who died to pay for the sin to be freed, it's just a matter of time.  Everyone will One Day be freed (when we capitalize "One Day" it means on the Day of Yâ-hwéh) because those evil spirits will be judged.  There are two ways for hosts to be freed from the bindings of evil spirit parasites.  One is through death, which releases the evil spirit to wander seeking another host, usually the next generation of those hating Yâ-hwéh [Exodus 20: 5], because the selves (néphesh) of human beings who die go to Sh’ówl where evil spirits cannot go, and the other way for such hosts to be freed by believing on Yâ-hwéh Yâhuwshúa`.  And humans who die who have not yet made a decision about the true glad tidings will recycle, as we discuss in the Sh’ówl page, and by His kindness, get another lifetime of opportunity to find Yâ-hwéh Yâhuwshúa`.

Note that a person can be inhabited by nearly any number of evil spirits [e.g. Márquwc 5: 9, Luwqá’ 8: 30].  Each spirit has a personality.  When you see a person seem to have more than one personality, contradicting themselves with no inner conflict, you have detected this.
In the times of Yâhuwchânâ´n the Immerser, those he immersed repented from their sins by the name of Yâ-hwéh, and cleared out their evil spirits, but their refusal to accept Yâhuwshúa` resulted in an empty clean potential host which got inhabited by 7 times more evil spirits than before [MattithYâ´huw 12: 43-45].

What is “sin”?  How is it avoided?

Sin is a mysterious term, a religious neologism, which in the languages from which scripture was translated meant “error” or to “miss the mark” (châţâ´ - Strong's #02398).  It is applied specifically to err at Yâ-hwéh’s instructions, so transgression or violation of His instructions are errors and result in the consequences to them which He also dictated.  And as “error” sounds, it is inconvenient and counterproductive and detrimental to the one erring, because all of Yâ-hwéh’s instructions are good and practical and not burdensome.  Sins harm others and oneself; in fact, "evil" (râ`) is also translated "harm", "injury", "misery", and "disaster" (Strong's #07451), to give you some idea of its impractical and undesirable nature.

’Âthâ´m and Chauwâ´h, when they were created, were naked [1 Moshéh 2: 25]. This is not merely materially naked as in unclothed, this is spiritually naked as in no defenses spiritually, no knowledge of what is good or what is evil, no wisdom, total vulnerability to anything against them.  In terms of spiritual armor, undefended.  That means no walls, in our allegory, to defend them against falling for the Adversary’s (Sâţâ´n’s) deception.  They had no spiritual armor of Yâ-hwéh [’Epheçíym 6: 11-13].
On the other hand, the envoys in the heavens were created clothed with knowledge of good and evil [1 Moshéh 3: 5]. They also knew that their thoughts were not private, and certain unchosen envoys were known by Yâ-hwéh to have such a destiny, so He had given them a fund of knowledge which was “reprobate”. [Chanówkh 16: 3]  When the Adversary deceived 1/3 of all the envoys, he only took these who were not chosen, whose fund of knowledge did not suffice to defend them from falling.  Thus, they had this weakness, this area of undefended unprotected exposure, a vulnerability which the Adversary used to mislead them [1 ’Âthâ´m and Chauwâ´h 55: 7-14].

A nonbeliever in His names or one ignorant of them has not yet been freed from the chains of their bonds of sin and is in bondage to their evil spirits of their sin preferences.  Sometimes the Christians who, like these, also do not know or believe in His names think they are free but they are not.  Thus they cannot truly stop sinning, and may repent repetitively, but their spirits give just a yank on their chain and they fall again and again.
But a believer on His names who has truly been freed, who has restored a full wall with no breaches or portals or drafts against permitting access to evil spirits is one which scripture says has "put on the full armor of Yâ-hwéh", and such a person will not sin, prefers not to, knows why not, and has developed “continence” to resist the Adversary to choose good and not evil.

And how is this continence acquired?  Realize this is a spiritual war, where we hear the voice of the spirit (breath) of Yâ-hwéh and we obey Him. But whenever we hear any other idea/suggestion, we must scrutinize the spirits for where they come from.  1 Yâhuwchânâ´n 4: 1-2 gives us the ultimate test for that.  But it is usually easy to realize that one can discern them by their fruits.  Follow the thread of the proposed idea to its destination, and see if it is evil.  If any of it violates scripture’s instructions, you know you heard an evil spirit.  Argue against them and resist their suggestion!  Do so aloud, if you are alone, and use your scripture knowledge, and utilize the names of Yâ-hwéh Yâhuwshúa`.  Do so until they are gone, and banish them by His name.  If you are too weak, pray to Him to deliver you from them.  But learn to RESIST, with verbal argument.  Don’t permit them any entry at all.

link to intrapage menu

What is a portal?

A person who believes on His names but yet who maintains a weakness where evil spirits maintain contact with him to continue to lure him into sin is maintaining what we call a portal. A portal is one translation for péthach (Strong's #06607), found for example in 1 Mosheh 4: 5-7.  Such a person is scripturally termed “accessible”, like `Ësâ´w [`Ivríym 12: 16] (Strong's #952)

Another possible term for a “portal” is an “opening”.  Looking at it spiritually, openings (portals) are perforations of walls which permit access of winds (spirits) to the inhabitant, and permit entrance of these competitive spirits into the marriage chamber.  Perhaps this is why the Adversary likes to portray himself as a penetrating burglar (Diós in Greek), a perforating phallus, making his deceived ones put such phallic symbols on their church buildings as steeples, and obelisks to honor him.

People who maintain an opening/portal spiritually will bolster it and reinforce it, buttressing it by rationalizations within their mind which excuse its continuing to exist as a loophole for them to violate His instructions, and which permits evil spirits to influence their behavior repeatedly. This causes a desensitization, a numbness/callousness which turns a blind eye to the harm one does, keeping open the possibility of sin, because one does not FEEL it being NUMB to the wrongness of the sin. Think of it like a diabetic with nerve damage to their foot, who does not feel the pebble in the shoe making an ulcer and who can't repair the damage of that hole, to prevent infection. It's like that spiritually. Truly being inhabited by evil spirits is an infestation.

Very often, such a person falsely believes that what goes on within his/her head is private and fine if no one else human hears about it, not realizing evil spirits also listen and study them for weaknesses.  Such a person entertains the thought of their preferred sin and ruminates on it, and plans and schemes about it.  Yâhuwshúa` called it sins "of the heart" [e.g. MattithYâ´huw 5: 28].  A person who tries to keep their evil thoughts hidden still will develop illnesses and diseases and cancers [Deuteronomy 28: 58-63], and periodically commit the sins they think about because they are accessible through their portal to evil spirits, even if they repent after each instance, helping explain why His taking and bearing away the sins of the ill and diseased did cure them [Luwqá’ 5: 17-26].

link to intrapage menu

How can one close a portal?

To remove an existing portal/opening in the wall of a believer in His names, this person must first examine himself introspectively for his fruits, and see where his weakness and access point lies.  The spirit of the Pure One has a mission to convict such a person of their sins in their conscience and this spirit will help to identify the problems [Yâhuwchânâ´n 16: 8-11].
The portal’s supporting rationalizations and excuses for permitting the weakness must be examined by this same person, and he/she needs to identify where the callousness (desensitization) lies to study about it in scriptures and become re-sensitized to it. This resensitization is called "circumcision of heart" [Deuteronomy 30: 6, YirmYâ´huw 4: 4, Romans 2: 29].

Researching in scriptures, one can find the knowledge and the wisdom to know what is wrong about one’s actions, which is why Yâ-hwéh's instructions are compared to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil [The Glad Tidings of Phílippos 100].  One must collect all the knowledge as to why the sin and the portal and the rationalizations are mistaken, like bricks.  Contemplate also how and why the main two commandments are being violated by this sin, to love Yâ-hwéh more than anything, and to love our fellow human as ourselves [MattithYâ´huw 22: 34-40].   Then the same person must rebuild the wall which was breached by the portal, filling in the gap using these bricks of knowledge and wisdom.  The mortar which makes these bricks adhere and remain firm is the person’s mode of APPLICATION of them. Prayerful resoluteness and insight to discard the deceit of this world is necessary, not ambivalence or apathy.
After one has filled in the gap and left no question unanswered as to why to not permit access here spiritually, one may test oneself to see if there remains any possible way he/she can be lured to sin in the same way, remembering all the bricks of knowledge and wisdom and having the fortitude to apply them.  If there seems to be some “draft” where an evil spirit (wind) peeks through, one needs to pray and study this and apply the knowledge again. But remember also to pray that He may not permit you to be led into testing, rather to be delivered from evil.

Just like a city does not belong to the one, when a wall has been thrown down of Yisrâ’ë´l and is unwalled, thus is an existent man (’iysh) whom Sâţâ´n is who is accompanying, anyone of Yisrâ’ë´l of the counsel which he practices. - Proverbs 25: 28 (LXX)

The Glad Tidings of the Truth defines an existent man as one who has acknowledged His name in response, having been called by name by Him into existence. As the wall was torn down by its own occupant, Yisrâ’ë´l, it is even clearer. This verse could have been at the beginning of this page, but at this point, everything in it should be understandable. So if you rebuild your walls, the next step is to oust the invaders!

Casting out evil spirits

You may ask, but shouldn’t a believer on His true names be free?  Wouldn’t one who has the names of Yâ-hwéh Yâhuwshúa` have the keys to the lock to the chains to unbind oneself?  Such a believer who is still permitting a competitive infestation to exist, can indeed be freed.  But Exodus 21: 6 and Deuteronomy 15: 17 give examples of how a slave, though freed, may choose to continue to serve his sovereign, in this spiritual case, an evil spirit!
Yet understand, one who does not believe on His names does not have the faith to be freed.  And those are possessed and will not be freed except by death or by repentance to believe on His names.  In those cases, the spirits are not competitive, but their lords (owners, possessors).
Therefore, the individual is the one at fault for using freedom of choice to choose to maintain associations with competing spirit(s), or by not believing on Yâ-hwéh Yâhuwshúa` to claim Him as their Sovereign to obtain His spirit, since it is due to portal(s) that the individual maintains, that they continue to have access to oneself.

But how can one repent (change their mind), oust the evil spirits, and close the portal behind them?
Often the infested individual is reaping his desired reward of sin from his unequal spiritual union, and will not desire freedom more than this sin.  Examples are found in musicians who produce evil songs through their inspiration, and pretenders (actors) who routinely accept inspiration of the character roles they play, and gamblers, and investors, and athletes, and soldiers, and various others who each rely on their spirits for their income or various types of sinners who rely on their inspiration for obtaining their sinful pleasure.  And any stirring of blinding emotions or pride by others trying to raise their consciousness of their spiritual situations are perceived as false accusations or condemnations, which makes them suffer from “cognitive dissonance” type denials which do not allow them to reason clearly or logically to see the need to change their mind.  The evil spirit/archon (fallen envoy, “demon”) is now in a union (coupling) with this person and it is very difficult for anyone (particularly the mis-“inspired” one) to try and separate the two when they themselves don’t see they are being misled/possessed.
Therefore, recognition of one’s spiritual state must come first, usually by the individual oneself realizing the negative consequences of this spiritual infestation.

To free oneself from these evil spirits and archons (fallen envoys/ “demons”), one must understand these things and believe these truths, which the deCapitated (Headless) medical science of psychiatry has denied, and cry out for help!  These spiritual parasites are repelled by positive energy, one of which is the sincere cry for help, which a néphesh (the inner man – the self) produces (with true tears), whenever calling our Father Yâ-hwéh for assistance.  This type of emotion is what uncouples the competing evil spirit from a believer because they hate the TURNING AWAY FROM EVIL (also known as “repentance”), since they cannot access nor comprehend the dimension of Love, Faith, Trust, etc. to accompany that néphesh anymore, and their tools of manipulating it are rejected.  It is written, that whenever “she” (the nephesh) changes her mind from following evil and turns to Goodness, Yâ-hwéh will hear her cry for help and intervene for her.

Read Songs 34: 17, Yshá`Yâhuw 65: 24, Romans 10: 14, Songs 107, and the codices scriptures including the “Exegesis of the ‘soul’ (néphesh)”. These are some scriptures which explain how to obtain help from Yâ-hwéh. Ya`aqóv 5: 14 talks about praying and anointing one who is not well among us, and it speaks regarding believers.  Having pure oil represents the having the anointing of the correct spirit, so do not anoint someone until one is a believer.   If one attempts this on a non-believer, things can get much worse, they can get more spirits and it can become what they call “mental illness” and may become very much more possessed, which is why we advise to not anoint a nonbeliever.  A person who has strong belief gets cured. A person who declares themselves a “free spirit” from the shackles of faith becomes a free ride for the enemies.

Let Yâ-hwéh lead you in what words to use in your prayers.  There may be a reaction from the person at the casting out of the evil spirit, and it can be shocking sometimes, so don’t expect it to be very peaceful.

Learning point: Sin is unsalvageable and entirely undesirable.

Do not dissect sins to attempt to find the good in it.  This makes one create new portals by seeking loopholes to excuse it.   This comes from not being in agreement with Yâ-hwéh to walk with Him in His Way, The Way of Yâ-hwéh.  Scripture says, for two men to walk together, they must be in agreement [`Âmówç 3: 3].  Yâ-hwéh will not drag us along His Way if we’re dragging our feet, seeking loopholes, and dissecting our errors (sins) looking for reasons to continue them, we would stagnate and we would experience the discipline He permits us, being His sons, which is not as bad as the consequences of the sin (death). Then don't wonder why the blessings aren't flowing!

Sin generally is a distortion of something correct.  And a common technique of the Adversary is to pack the error among truth or goodness or nice appearance to easier mislead the human.  And one common rationalization being used by those maintaining portals to sin is to dissect away the wrongness of the act to focus only on the part which seems pleasing to the person.  But we define reality as Yâ-hwéh’s perspective on things, and we must look at it as He sees it, to not be mistaken.  A sin is truly an omnibus package deal which comes also with its consequences included, so one must not dissect away the unpleasant parts to only gaze at the part one desires.  This is error which hardens one against reality.  One should learn to desire what is correct, find what it is within the realm of good behavior, and find instead how to obtain that.

Often, one sin leads to another, so trace them all to the root problem so you can stop it at its source.

Up until now, we have dealt with sins generally, abstractly.  But see these examples to see how to apply these principles, even if it may not be your own field of weakness:

Researching scriptures will show you that:

Satanâ’Ë´l (accusation of the Power) was created as the envoy in charge of the altar to Yâ-hwéh, a very important envoy, very decorated, and given much prestige.  The position is similar to one of a Prosecuting Attorney.  But his first error was PRIDE [1 Timótheos 3: 6].  He thought to magnify his responsibility by making sin happen thus making more offerings necessary [YchezqË´’l 28: 11-19].  Given authority over the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, his tree turned man into a beast when he persuaded ’Âthâ´m to eat of it.  This was one of the five trees in the garden of `Ë´then, and thus this envoy was one of the five which surrounded the Throne of the Power.  The tree of Life was of Miykhâ’Ë´l, the envoy name of Yâhuwshúa` (The other three trees/envoys around the throne are mentioned in Chanówkh). So Satanâ’Ë´l fell, and no more represented the accusation of the Power, so his name merely was renamed “the Accuser/Adversary”, ha-Sâţâ´n.  And he made a boast which earned him the name Foolish Boaster, Hëylë´l, which this proud envoy has his scribes “translate” falsely as “Lucifer” (light-bringer), as if he had any Light at all. And Hëylë´l had contempt for the Personhood of Yâ-hwéh, Yâhuwshúa`, Whose Envoy name was Miykhâ’Ë´l (Who is like the Power), Who as one who knows Yâ-hwéh’s beautiful character is humble, patient, wise, favoring, kind, and loving.  Hëylë´l thought himself superior to Him, and thought himself as more worthy of the Power of Yâ-hwéh, and thought to exalt himself like the Most High.  Here we see the definition of Envy: when one thinks themselves superior, and another as being less worthy to receive something they covet. [Ya`aqóv 3: 13- 4: 10]  So Pride relates to Envy.  Miykhâ’Ë´l thus threw Hëylë´l down to the earth like lightning, after he had judged Him as unfit, gathered his own host (army) of the unchosen envoys to oppose Him, and warred against Him [Disclosure 12: 7-9].

The Impostor is called the Similitude of the Envy (KJV – “image of jealousy”) [YchezqË´’l 8: 3].  In a model of the original Envy described above, the Impostor will be the Procurer of animals and materials for the material offerings being done at the temple building.  This Procurer does NOT have any priestly authorities given in scripture to him [YchezqË´’l 45: 16-17].  The only priests there who will be permitted to get close to Yâ-hwéh will be the sons of the Righteous One (Tsâthúwq), which are the ones who are kinsmen to Yâ-hwéh the Pure One of the pure ones [הקדשים קדשי], true believers in Yâ-hwéh Yâhuwshúa` [YchezqË´’l 44], whom YchezqË´’l will return to choose [YchezqË´’l 43: 19].  But the Procurer, the Impostor, will contain the self (néphesh) of Yehuwthâ´h (“Judas”) the traitor, who was told by Yâhuwshúa` that he “will be cursed by the other generations — but you will come to rule over them.” (“Glad Tidings of Yehuwthâ´h”, not included in PSR).  So since the Impostor will be this old treacherous ambitious self (néphesh), his pride will mislead him like Hëylë´l for being very important, very decorated, and given much prestige, and he will think himself better and more worthy than the priests who believe in Yâ-hwéh Yâhuwshúa`’s name.  He will thus invade where he should not go, where he is scripturally forbidden to go, and even think to claim the Power of Yâ-hwéh, to exalt himself like the Most High [2 Thessaloníkeans 2: 4].  Again, pride leads to envy, and he will condemn, rage, and rush out to murder those who rebelled against him, using the transferred authority of the Adversary of administering death for sin.

Qáyin (KJV – “Cain”) was born first, and being the eldest, felt entitled to be superior to Hével (KJV – “Abel”), who was humble.  Qáyin did not seek Yâ-hwéh as Hével did, and did his service unwillingly and resentfully, and brought the worst to offer Yâ-hwéh while regretting having to give it up.  Yâ-hwéh did not respect his offering, but did respect Hével’s, and Qáyin thus had his pride hurt.  Pride is directly proportional to one’s tendency to become offended [Proverbs 13: 10].  Pride also being self-reliant, it does not take advice well.  Thus Qáyin got offended and did not take Yâ-hwéh’s advice.  Then anger and rage seethed in Qáyin’s mind, and the Adversary used these portals to teach him to condemn his brother as being insolence against him, and misled him to murder his brother, because Anger and Rage is committing murder in one’s heart.
We also see how the Adversary, being thrown down to earth, knowing that the Seed of ’Âthâ´m would inherit the earth, having no such a promise given to him, also envied him and thought to himself to murder ’Âthâ´m so he would himself inherit the earth by default and omission, and so he murdered him several times, but Yâ-hwéh resurrected him each time.  Pride led to envy led to anger and rage led to murder.

So how should a person brick up such a portal in oneself?

After having found and studying such scriptural examples as we illustrated above for this case, pertinent to one's own problem, one should eliminate all the sources of these errors. In this case, eliminate all pride, studying about what it is, and realizing there is nothing good in us we should be proud of, that all credit is due to Yâ-hwéh for everything good [YirmYâ´huw 9: 22-23], and that we should strive to maintain humility always especially if we become exalted because Yâhuwshúa` was the humblest of all, while being the best at everything.  Realize envy relates to coveting, which is materialism, which is idolatry [Qowloçíym 3: 5], and that we should rejoice at others’ blessings, not covet them.  Regarding anger, we must not sin, and we must not condemn lest we be condemned, because we have been forgiven.  Let Yâ-hwéh Yâhuwshúa` do all the judging, He can do a much better job, and retribution belongs to Him [Deuteronomy 32: 35, Song 94: 1], so give room for His wrath, and put it all in His capable hands [Romans 12: 19]. Remember that the wrath of humans does not work the righteousness of Yâ-hwéh [Ya`aqóv 1: 19-20]. And if He should favor someone else more than us, remember He is correct, so we must be the ones mistaken.  But in the case of the wicked, who now are receiving their material consolation [Luwqá’ 6: 24], we must know scriptures enough to know that they are not to be envied, nor wondered at, because their future is bleak. [Song 37]

Summary and Conclusion:

Thus if one applies all one's personally researched bricks of knowledge to one’s portals with the mortar of determined conviction, and sees no leeway for even thinking these things, such a portal is effectively closed.

One must make sure all portals are closed and all of the spiritual armor of Yâ-hwéh is put on to avoid all sin and to become continent. Romans 13: 12-14 -

  1. Henceforth, the night is far spent, and the Day has approached; therefore, we should put away the works of darkness, and should dress ourselves with the armor of Light.
  2. We should about walk as during the Day, as ones formed well: not in revelings and intoxications, not in sleeping around and licentiousness, not in strife and envying.
  3. Instead, put on our Sovereign, Yâhuwshúa` the Anointed, and do not make provision for desires of the flesh. [Galátas 5: 16-26]

We could also similarly explain the bricks to be collected in scripture regarding all the other sins defined in the Instructions, but it would take too much room here, and rob from one’s own collateral benefits obtained from personal scriptural study, therefore we encourage everyone to get continent using this template, and finding the knowledge in the Purer Scriptures for the REMNANT (PSR) translation, and applying them to become CONTINENT of all sin.  Then you will enter into the days when Yâ-hwéh Yâhuwshúa` will bless you in all things (see PSR 1 Moshéh 24: 1). This is one GOOD reason to stop sinning and become continent.

Lastly, remember who you are in His sight. Do not dishonor His name by dragging it through your mud by becoming a poor example of a believer in His name, someone refusing to reform and walk with Him in His Way. Remember that by believing on His name during this end-time, you are chosen to be one of His personal attendants, one of the ones He chose to be the surviving remnant of 144,000 of our people Yisrâ’ë´l (Christianity), less than 1% of us. Let us be pure as He is pure.
